Remote Development is only one reason why I decided to check out VSCode again. Another is the stillstand and total lack of communication over at SublimeText. The last build is from October 2019. Maybe VSCode will finally help me to be able to properly develop my Python stuff from the iPad.

This really looks amazing. We will see what this means for other "CI/CD As A Service" companies and their solutions. Many in my Twitter timeline already think that this could be the decline for many of these services.

Now that GitHub is owned by Microsoft, free accounts can have unlimited private repositories. Before the acquisition, this feature was only available to "Pro" accounts. That, and the fact that I like to support companies which products I use, was the main factor for me to have a paid account. »
